Christmas is coming, so all you parents out there, why not get your child a book. This is a heart-warming story of good against bad aimed at Middle Grade/Young Adults, written and illustrated by Carmel Gordon. This is her third book published by Beyond The Vale, a great achievement and a big thank you from all us at BTV.

When a new candy store opens in the small town of Orchard, sisters Lily and Iris can’t resist a visit.

Amongst all the wonderful chocolate and sweets, Iris sees sadness in the two owners, Jasmine and Scarlett.

Danger is coming. The village of Smoke is in trouble! And when Rainbow’s Candy store is vandalised, the sisters realise that the trouble has come to Orchard.

Iris and Lily are drawn in to help. Saving Smoke is vital and time is against them, but how can two girls stand up against an army?
