Yes, Beyond The Vale Publishing was at Comic Con for the third year in a row and this year we were bigger and in the main hall. Yes from 26 to 29 September we were there meeting some amazing people, selling some books and being on our feet.
What a four days we all had. To say it was amazing hardly does the event justice. We had such a blast and was able to far surpass last years total for books sold – 167 compared to 125 which is great. It’s heartwarming that there are so many readers out there. Of course the best selling genres were fantasy and science fiction.
TOP AUTHORS
Topping our author sales charts this year were
Richard Edwards – 72 books
Michael Ferguson – 45 books
Micah Angel (Michelle) – 16 books
The top selling books were:
Richard Edwards – Am I Really A Secret Alien Spy – 21 books
Michael Ferguson – A Prophecy of Flowers and Lightening – 17 books
Richard Edwards – The Untimely Death of Barry Cobb – 16 books
It’s fair to say that we could have sold more of all these books if we hadn’t run out. That’s a lesson for next year!
THE BEYOND THE VALE STAND
With the addition of some well placed lights, new stands and a TV, the stand looked fabulous:
NEW RELEASES
Edition 2 of the amazing comic book series “The Legends of T’Tickot” was released as well as book 5 of my Alien Spy series. I was so pleased when people came back for book 5 who had bought books 1-4 last year.
AUTHOR KERA POPPED IN TO SAY HI.
Her book, Slayer Traits, sold well and we’re looking forward to a sequel:
