Everyone gets marked at some point in their life.
This is the story of Dillen-Lee who was scarred for life from the age of three following a horrific accident. From this tragedy comes a story of difficulty and pain.
He often ran from domestic violence seeking safety and shelter with other families because when he was a child, other people’s homes seemed better than his own.
For some, it seems that the end of the pain and suffering will come only by an early death.
Pain, however, isn’t just negative, it can often be a source of strength and inspiration.
Everyone is marked for greatness, regardless of looks, where we come from, or who raised us. We are all different and unique in our own way, and sometimes accepting that we can’t change destiny saves us a lot of heartache.
About the author
Dillen struggled with rejection but continued to fight for acceptance. By the age of 22, he had lived in 14 different homes. While getting burned at a young age, the flame continued to cause havoc throughout his life and soon his family lost everything. His mother had become emotionally absent and this has driven him into attempting to take his own life. He suddenly experienced hatred towards everything, including God.
