Tango is a Piper Tri-Pacer and more than anything, Tango loves to fly. When the Old Pilot and his wife plan a big trip all the way out to the desert Tango is rather nervous about it. While Tango loves exploring, flying and visiting new places, such a big adventure is further than he has been before and is more than Tango thinks he is capable of. After a bad night’s sleep, he decides he doesn’t want to go anymore. Sympathetically the Old Pilot’s wife has a gentle word with Tango, explaining that no one is going to force him to do it but sometimes doing things that scare us a little are the times we learn how much we can really do. Eventually, Tango decides to face his fears and give it a go, heading for the far away desert, new friends and the danger of aeroplane-eating Hyenas…
