About the author

Jesse Pieters is a South African high-school student and author. He was born on the 24th of November 2003 in Langebaan, Cape Town, South Africa. Jesse currently lives in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, South Africa also known as the Vaal Triangle. He attends Word of Life Christian School and is in his matric year.

Jesse has a passion for literature that was borne at a very young age. It started with writing short stories with stick men characters that eventually evolved into gripping novels.

He loves spending time with his family, reading, performing outdoor activities and watching anime.

Upon completing his matric, Jesse aspires to study veterinary sciences. He loves working with animals and has three cats of his own. During holidays, he volunteers at a veterinary clinic in the area and has picked up quite a few tips from the veterinary doctor that he shadows.

Jesse aspires to continue writing and is hoping to go from strength to strength with his writing. He wishes to inspire other young writers to follow their dreams and continue putting in the hard work. Hard work always pays off.
