Being a writer – Michelle

Hi Everyone,

I hope you’re all well. One of the best things about self-publishing, as I have mentioned before, is delivering those books to the client. But first…

The weeks progress

Yet another busy week here in the Vale. On Saturday, we took my books out to the good people of Benoni, in one of their monthly craft markets. The weather put many people off, but it was still a good day. Especially if you’re a fan of waffles.

I’m still working on draft 2 of book 5 of the Puzzle Train series – Puzzle Mansion. 18 chapters done now.

Michelle Walters – Taken

On Sunday, I took a drive out to Hartbeespoort, nestled in amongst the Magaliesberg mountains to take the latest bunch of Beyond The Vale books to Michelle Walters, author of Taken.

A young noble woman awakes following a terrible illness, hundreds of miles away from her native France with no memory of who she is or how she got there.

Measles has spread through eleventh century France. The country is in turmoil. Death is everywhere. Secluded behind a rock by her guardian, the young woman is accidentally found by a group of trading Vikings. Their leader, Thord, takes pity on the girl and takes her to his island.

Placed in a cottage with just a healer for company, she must learn to quickly adapt to her captors’ customs…including not becoming romantically involved with Thord…or face the consequences.

Will she ever see her homeland again?

Congratulations Michelle. If you would like to see your story turned into a book, we can help. Contact us now to find out more about self-publishing.
