I hope you are all well. Another happy day for me over the weekend as I helped another author self-publish their works.
I was out in one of South Africa’s three capital cities – Pretoria – to meet Buhle and deliver her books.
This is a first collection of essays and poems from one of Africa’s most exciting, emerging talents.
It is rare to come across a young woman so in touch with her emotions, but the author manages to share her life’s experiences with the reader in such a way that there is an immediate connection. From the pain of abuse to the sadness of unrequited love, and the unremitting devotion to her mother, her audience can relate to every feeling expressed and share in the anger and the resolve.
Africa can be proud of this rising star, and there is no doubt that she will be writing for the world’s stage very soon!
