ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Mandisa Hadebe was born in 1999 December, on the 23rd in Port Shepstone, in a small village of KwaNdelu in Hibberdene. She values respect more than anything. Respect for herself, for all mankind, planet Earth, and Mother Nature. She believes in prayer more than anything. Growing up, she had always loved reading and playing netball in her primary school years.

Following an incident, she was unable to play netball or any other physical sports so she took up chess. She has always loved reading and writing pieces of literature, which she had hoped that she’d publish one day. Reading the many books, she has read has inspired and encouraged her to publish her own one day.

Flames of the Bare Brown Pastures is her first book. She has always hated fantasy and loved reality, as real as it is and as sour and distasteful as it may be sometimes. Oh, and she is not a believer in happy endings, as she believes that such do not exist.

As long as it’s happy, then it’s not an ending…
