I hope you all had a great week. I’m very excited to announce Beyond The Vale Publishing’s first writing competition.
As an author of children’s books, I am passionate about getting kids to read. As such I am looking for kids stories to inspire them to read. South Africa is a proud sporting nation and so I have decided to put together a competition.
The prize:
- Beyond The Vale Publishing will publish your story for free!
The criteria:
- Your story must be between 8,000 and 12,000 words.
- It must be aimed at 7 to 10 year olds.
- It must be set in South Africa.
- It must have a sporting theme. The sport can be any sport played in South Africa.
- It must be inspirational.

- Submit your story.
- Closing date is 30 June 2022.
